Nothing's Better Than... Stampin' Up! Cards



...Cookies


Card Base: Sahara Sand cardstock 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (fold in half)

  • Cut Real Red cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4" 
  • Using the small heart stamp from "Whale Done" stamp the heart around the red cardstock using Real Red ink. Turn the stamp as you stamp around the outside edges. Also, ensure you have some paper under the cardstock when you stamp so you can stamp off on some of the edges.
  • Adhere red cardstock to the card base front.
  • Use the "love you more than' die to cut the words in Early Espresso cardstock. If you have an adhesive sheet, use this first on the cardstock before running it through the die-cut machine.
  • Use the "Cookies" die to cut the word in Early Espresso cardstock (also consider using adhesive sheet).
  • Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 2 3/4" x 4"
  • Adhere  "love you more than" words to the top center of the whisper white cardstock. 
  • Adhere "cookies" word to the bottom center of the whisper white cardstock. 
  • Stamp two hearts in Real Red ink to the center-left side of the cardstock under the top words.
  • On some scrap whisper white paper stamp two cookies in Early Espresso ink. 
  • Use Light and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends to color in the cookies using the darker color on the outside and blending into the center with the lighter color. 
  • Use the Cookie die to cut out the two cookies. Adhere one to the center-right of the white cardstock. 
  • Adhere the Whisper White cardstock to the center of the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Adhere the remaining cookie overlapping the other cookie, using a Stampin' Dimensionals


INSIDE: Cut Whisper White cardstock to 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"
Stamp the "You make everything better" sentiment to the center top in Early Espresso ink.
Stamp the cookie image at the bottom right in Early Espresso ink.


Cocktails......


Card Base: Whisper White cardstock 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (fold in half)

  • Cut In Color DSP (in Magenta Madness) to 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the center of the card front. 
  • Cut Bermuda Bay cardstock to 4 3/4" x 3" 
  • Cut Pool Party cardstock to 2 7/8" x 4 5/8" 

  • Stamp the word 'Cocktails' in Bermuda Bay ink at the top left-hand side of the Pool Party cardstock. 
  • Stamp the words "Because adulting is hard." at the bottom right in Magenta Madness ink 
  • Adhere Pool Party cardstock to the Bermuda Bay cardstock, then adhere to the center of the card front.
  • Using a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamp three cocktails in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink. Then stamp the inside stamp (with ice cube stamp) on two of the glasses using Magenta Madness ink. Stamp one using Bermuda Bay and Mango Medly ink overlapping. 
  • Use the citrus wedge stamp to stamp in Pumpkin Pie ink on each citrus wedge. Use the umbrella stamp to stamp in varying ink colors on the umbrella. 
  • (You can also color in the stamped image using markers or Stampin' Blends)
  • Use the dies to cut out the cocktail glasses. Adhere the glasses to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Whiskey for Dad
Card base – Early Espresso Ink 8 ½” x 5 ½”
  • Cut Designer Paper (from In Good Taste paper pack) to 4” x 5 ¼” and adhere to the card front
  • Cut Whisper White cardstock to 4 ½” x 3 ¼” Stamp the decanter to the left side of the cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
  • On a scrap Whisper White cardstock stamp two of the glasses using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
  • Color in the Decanter and glasses using Stampin’ Blends:
  • So Saffron Light, Pool Party Light, Mango Medley Light, Mango Medley Dark, Gray Light (for the shadow under the decanter), Color Lifter
  • Once colored, adhere the Whisper White cardstock with the decanter to the front of the card base in the center.
  • Cut out the glasses separate, then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the glasses to the front of the card near the decanter.
  • On a piece of Whisper White card stock stamp the sentiment "Being a Dad is Whiskey Business" using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
  • Use the Story Book Punch to punch out the sentiment. Also punch out a piece of Early Espresso cardstock. Cut the Early Espresso piece horizontally in the center. Then adhere the pieces to the back of the sentiment letting a little of the top and bottom of the Early Espresso show.
  • Adhere the sentiment to the top right of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Old-Fashioned Birthday
Card base – Whisper White Cardstock 11” x 4 ¼”
  • Cut Designer Paper (from In Good Taste paper pack) to 4” x 5 ¼” and adhere to card front
  • Cut Whisper White cardstock to 4 ½” x 3 ¼” Stamp the decanter to the top center of cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
  • Color in the Decanter and glasses using Stampin’ Blends:
  • So Saffron Light, Pool Party Light, Mango Medley Light, Mango Medley Dark, Gray Light (for the shadow under the decanter), Color Lifter
  • Stamp the Old-Fashioned Birthday sentiment under the decanter using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
  • Adhere to the center of the card front using Stampin Dimensionals.

Adventure Awaits
Cardbase: Early Espresso Cardstock 11" x 4 1/4", Fold in half
  • Cut Designer Series Paper to 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the front of the card base.
  • Cut Early Espresso cardstock to 3" x 4 1/4" 
  • Cut Cinnamon Cider cardstock to 2 7/8" x 4 1/8", use the Old World Paper embossing folder to emboss the cardstock and adhere to the top of the Early Espresso piece of cardstock
  • Use the circle die from the World Map Dies/Beautiful World Bundle to cut a circle in Misty Moonlight cardstock, cut the large stand in Early Espresso cardstock, and cut the half of the globe in Brass Foil paper. 
  • Adhere the large stand to the front of the Cinnamon Cider rectangle. (do not glue the very top bar. 
  • Glue the Brass Foil world outline to the Misty Moonlight cardstock then insert and adhere it into the stand. 
  • Cut a piece of Early Espresso Faux Suede ribbon to 9" and tie around the bottom of the Early Espresso/Cinnamon Cider cardstock.
  • Adhere this piece to the top right of the card front. 
  • Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 1 1/4" x 2 1/2". Stamp the "Adventure Awaits!" sentiment to the front center in Cinnamon Cider ink. 
  • Adhere on top of the suede ribbon on the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals. 
  • Inside: Cut whisper white cardstock to 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" and using Cinnamon Cider ink stamp the world/globe at the bottom left so it hangs over the edge and the sentiment "Congratulations on this new beginning" to the center top. Adhere to the inside of the card.

  • Cut Whisper White cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4", use the Old World Paper embossing folder to emboss the cardstock and adhere to the center of the card front. 
  • Cut a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock to 3 1/4" x 4 1/2".
  • Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 3 1/8" x 4 3/8" and adhere to the Misty Moonlight cardstock.
  • Cut a piece of designer paper (brass globes on blue background) to 3" x 4 1/4" and adhere to the center of the Whisper White cardstock. 
  • On a piece of scrap Whisper White cardstock, stamp the sentiment "You make the world a better place" in Misty Moonlight ink. 
  • Use the circle die from the World Map Dies/Beautiful World Bundle to cut a circle around the sentiment. Adhere the sentiment to the bottom right of the designer paper. 
  • Adhere to the center of the card front using Stampin Dimensionals.
