Above the Clouds Stampin' Up! Cards






Soaring Above the Clouds

 Life Is a Beautiful Ride

  • Card Base: Whisper White Cardstock  11" x 4 1/4" Fold in half (top fold)
  • Calypso Coral Cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
  • Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (DSP) 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"  Adhere to the top of the Calypso Coral cardstock
  • Calypso Coral Cardstock 1 3/4" x 5 5/8"  Adhere to the center of the DSP horizontally just above the center point. 
  • Cut Whisper White Tulle Ribbon to 14" and tie around the small Calypso Coral cardstock piece. Tie a knot to the left of the center.
  • On Whisper White cardstock use Basic Gray ink to stamp the outline of the Hot Air Balloon. Use Daffodil Delight ink to stamp the center part of the balloon. Punch out with Hot Air Balloon Punch.
  • On Whisper White cardstock use Basic Gray ink to stamp the outline of the balloon basket. Use Smoky Slate ink to stamp the center part of the basket. Punch out with Hot Air Balloon Punch.
  • Punch out a piece of Whisper White ink using the Story Label Punch. Stamp sentiment on the left side of the punch using Basic Gray ink. 
  • Adhere the balloon to the sentiment on the right side.
  • Adhere the balloon and sentiment to the card front using Stampin' dimensions.


 Let Your Dreams Soar

  • Card Base: Smoky Slate Cardstock  8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Fold in half
  • Cut Whisper White cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4"   Use the 2" round punch to cut a circle from the center of the white cardstock before adhering it to the front of the card base.
  • Cut Pool Party cardstock to 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" 
  • Use Pool Party ink to stamp clouds on the cardstock (randomly scatter)
  • Use Basic Gray ink to stamp the outline of the 3 small hot air balloons at the top left on the Pool Party Cardstock.  Use Granny Apple Green ink to stamp the inside of the 3 small hot air balloons. 
  • Cut 24" of Whisper White Twine and wrap it around the Pool Party cardstock twice (just below the center) Tie it into a bow on the right-hand side.
  • Adhere Pool Party cardstock to the center of card front
  • On the 2" circle use Gorgeous Grape ink to stamp sentiment in the center.
  • On Whisper White cardstock use Gorgeous Grape ink to stamp the outline of the Hot Air Balloon. Use Highland Heather ink to stamp the center part of the balloon. Punch out with Hot Air Balloon Punch.
  • On Whisper White cardstock use Basic Gray ink to stamp the outline of the balloon basket. Use Smoky Slate ink to stamp the center part of the basket. Punch out with Hot Air Balloon Punch.
  • Adhere the sentiment circle to the bottom right hand of card front overlapping the twine using Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Adhere the Hot Air Balloon overlapping the sentiment and twine to the center of the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals
I hope you enjoy creating these beautiful cards. Change them up by adding different designer series paper or different ink or cardstock colors. There are so many variations you can make.

Timeless Tulips Bundle from Stampin' Up!

You can use any of Stampin' Up!'s coordinating colors to create these beautiful cards.

  • Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"  Fold in half
  • Designer Series Paper (DSP) - 5 1/2" x 2 1/4"  Adhere to the bottom of the card base front
  • Ribbon - Cut ribbon to 5 3/4" and adhere to the card front in the center slightly over the Designer Series Paper (DSP)
  • Whisper White Cardstock - 2 5/8" x 4 1/8"   Stamp one tulip and two stems (leaves if desired) and stamp the sentiment to match the mat color
  • Mat Cardstock - 2 3'4" x 4 1/4"  Adhere to the back of the Whisper White cardstock with the stamped images on it
  • Whisper White (separate paper) stamp the large tulip in the same color as your other tulip and use the punch to punch out. Adhere to the Whisper White by the open stem using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Adhere the stamped images to the card front (straight or at an angle)

Hello Card:  Pool Party Cardstock card base, Tropical Oasis DSP, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape Ink, Gorgeous Grape card stock, Garden Green ink for stems/leaves, Purple Tricolor Ribbon
