A Plaid Gift Card Holder
This simple but stunning Gift Card Holder was made using items from the Wrapped in Plaid Suite of Stampin' Up! products. This card is perfect for Christmas when so many gift cards are a popular gift. Dress up your gift card
Christmas Gift Card Holder
Card Base: Shaded Spruce
11”x 4 ½” Score at 2 ½” and 5 ½”
· Cut Designer Series Paper (DSP) Wrapped in Plaid
to 2 ¾” x 4” and 2 ¼” x 4”
· Adhere smaller piece to the first flap (small)
and adhere the larger piece to the larger flap on the card front. (check to make sure
it is on the correct side.
· Use the tree punch to punch out a ½ of the tree
on the center of the outside flap (creating your gift tag insert)
· Use Tear N Tape to adhere to the first small flap
to the larger panel (fold into the card) This is the gift cardholder.
· Use the Nested Ovals
Dies or a round punch to create a circle of Gold Foil Paper.
· Adhere the gold foil circle/oval to the front
card flap in the center.
· Punch out two trees – one from Shaded Spruce and
one from the matching DSP.
· Adhere shaded spruce tree to the gold foil
with Stampin Dimensionals. Add Star
embellishment.
· Cut Whisper White cardstock to 5 ¼” x 4” and
adhere to the inside of the card.
· Adhere the DSP tree to the bottom right of the
white cardstock
· Stamp the sentiment ‘Merry Christmas’ to the top
right of the white cardstock using Shaded Spruce ink.
